Danny is a Singapore-qualified lawyer who is regularly engaged to advise and navigate business owners, companies and senior leaders through crisis situations involving their business interests and personal lives. Danny has particular expertise in arbitration, litigation, mediation, restructuring & insolvency and tax. He is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb), a Global INSOL Fellow, an accredited mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) and a contributing author to Halsbury’s Laws of Singapore (Company Law). Danny frequently co-counsels with, instructs and is instructed by international and foreign law firms across Asia.

Danny graduated from the Law Faculty of the National University of Singapore and placed on the Overall Dean’s List (top 10%). He was NUS’ top tax and criminal law student and was nominated for the Lee Hsien Loong Award for Outstanding All-Round Achievement. He previously worked in Baker & McKenzie (under Edmund Leow S.C.), Providence Law Asia LLC (under Abraham Vergis S.C.) and TSMP Law Corporation (under Thio Shen Yi S.C.).

AsiaLaw has ranked Danny as a “Distinguished Practitioner for Dispute Resolution” while Benchmark Litigation has recognised him as a “Litigation Star” for Commercial & Transactions.

Danny is a highly-rated speaker and trainer and a thought leader in his areas of practice. He was previously an adjunct faculty at the National University of Singapore, and has guest lectured at top law schools around the Asian region including the China University of Political Science & Law (CUPL), Shanghai Jiaotong School of Law, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law (ULaw) and the University of Malaya. He is a senior advocacy trainer for the Part B Law Course (for aspiring lawyers who wish to become Singapore-qualified). He has spoken at events hosted by the International Bar Association, the Singapore Academy of Law, the Law Society of Singapore, Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA), Tax Academy, Omni Bridgeway, ThoughtLeaders for FIRE, BrightTalk and GAO Capital, amongst others. He has been published in the International Bar Association Journal, the Business Times, the Straits Times, the IBFD Tax Journal, Tax Notes International, SAL Practitioner and Singapore Law Watch.
